Default Looking For A Remedy For Sensitivity To The Cold

I have Renaud's Syndrome, which is sensitivity to the cold. Whenever my toes or fingers get too cold, the blood stops circulating and then they turn white. It takes holding them under warm water for a few minutes to get the blood flowing again. My doctor says the side effects of a medical cure may be worse than putting up with the problem. Does anyone know about an herbal remedy that may work for this?

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. I have cold sensitivity too, but not to the point of Raynaud's syndrome, and mine can be painful enough. The only advice I've ever received is to exercise regularly to improve circulation.

Cayenne pepper, Ginkgo, Garlic, and Ginger are all good for improving blood circulation. Cayenne pepper stimulates the heart, resulting in a regulated blood flow and stronger capillaries and arteries. I would give these a try and watch for any improvement.

This is very in depth. Its a bit more complicated than a few herbs. Yes, it can be helped, but an herbalist should be consulted. Much information will be needed to insure the right areas of your physiological body is supported.

Not only do the symptoms of cold feet need to be dealt with, but the cause of the problem. There is a reason your extremities have this. You can throw a combination of herbs at it all day and never hit the right one because the problem is more complicated than "circulation."

I believe if you consulted with an herbalist, a good one, then the problem can be addressed quite usefully.
